Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of College Operations, the Program & Growth Analyst completes independent analysis functions related to complex financial, administrative, personnel, and academic metric data for all CHHS academic programs, including stateside and extended education, to ensure CHHS follows best business practices to provide the best possible educational outcomes and experiences for students, faculty and staff.  This position also provides administrative oversight to numerous areas regarding new stateside and self-support program growth.  Completes data entry and analysis of data for the purpose of creating and improving formulas that assist in the allocation of college resources, the development and/or growth of new and existing programs, and more.  Provides reports to Director in relation to program and degree efficiencies related to enrollment and section counts and any other metrics that assist the college in supporting the maximum number of students in the most efficient ways possible.

The Program & Growth Analyst will also provide administrative support to the Director of College Operations for other areas, including college budget, process and procedure review, and organizational structure.  Tracks financial and personnel-related data and reports to the Director of Operations to ensure maximum program efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent analyses of financial, academic, curricular, and enrollment data for the purpose of constructing new programs and/or evaluating existing programs for efficiency and growth.
  • Administrative oversight of financial, budget, personnel, and program growth portfolios.
  • College budget analysis and reporting.
  • Analyses of human infrastructure data to determine needed academic and administrative support for self-support and stateside programs and growth.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with advanced skills such as pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools. They have experience in budgeting and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and support strategic decisions. Familiarity with PeopleSoft is preferred, as it supports seamless integration with HR and finance systems. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are key to success in this role.

Education and Experience

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience required. Related education may be substituted for experience.

• Six years of related experience in performing financial and administrative analysis and program oversight in large business units with multiple funds preferred.

• Two years of experience in program development or management, preferably in a governmental or academic setting preferred.

• Government or Academic experience preferred.

• Experience in facilities-related fields preferred.

• Experience in technology-related fields preferred.

Physical Summary

  • Sedentary work - Involves mainly sitting. Walking and standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects. (10 pounds or less).

Classification

Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Exempt I

Effective 10/1/2025, a new salary step structure and job classifications will be implemented under the CSU-CSUEU Agreement. Job duties will remain unchanged; however, this position may be assigned to a new classification with an updated salary range. Employees will be notified of any changes. Compensation

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $4,598 - $7,388 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.

CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,598 - $8,318 per month.

1.0  time-base, 40 hours per week.

Duration of Appointment

This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
