
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Services Manager, the incumbent will serve as fiscal and operational coordinator for programs within the College of Business (COB). The incumbent also serves as a receptionist for the COB Dean's Office and as the overflow support for staff in the Dean's Office and various departments/programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Fiscal Operations. Assist with intake, logging and tracking of all fiscal transactions. Assist with preparation, coordination and communications for fiscal operations.
- Serve as primary receptionist for COB Dean's Office.
- Academic Operations. Assist with coordination and tracking of student and lecturer processing including contracts, timesheets, etc.
- Assist ASM and Dean's Office staff in day-to-day operational activities. Provide assistance to faculty, department chairs and programs directors during the absence of department Administrative Support Coordinators.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Excel and good analytical skills. Working knowledge of general practices, procedures in college and department offices, special programs. Strong computer skills including Windows, Word, MS Office, and databases. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide range of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the College of Business, its departments and programs. Strong organizational skills. Ability to establishes and maintain good working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and vendors. Ability to work independently using sound judgment, accuracy, and speed. Ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse community.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
• Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Training and experience at the intermediate or greater level in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and Access) preferred.
Physical Summary
- Sedentary work - Involves mainly sitting. Walking and standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects. (10 pounds or less).

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,864 - $6,072 per month.

1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
Duration of Appointment
