The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Human Resources Benefits Analyst to serve as an integral part of the Human Resources Management (HRM) Benefits team responsible for administering benefits for the California State University's (CSU) 23 campuses and the Office of the Chancellor. The incumbent performs a variety of professional, technical, and administrative duties that support the following CSU benefit and retirement plans: medical (administered by CalPERS), dental, vision, long-term disability, group life, leaves of absence, voluntary benefits (flexible spending accounts, life, disability, employee assistance, critical illness, home/auto, pre-tax parking, tuition fee waiver) and retiree plans (pension (administered by CalPERS) and supplemental savings). The incumbent assists campus benefit representatives with benefit inquiries including but not limited to plan design, best practice, business/technical processes, eligibility, coverage, enrollment, and benefit information systems. The incumbent also assists in responding to retiree benefit inquiries regarding plan design, coverage, enrollment, and access. The incumbent would also assist campus leave representatives with leaves related inquiries regarding all leave programs including but not limited to compliance training with state and federal laws and regulations, current collective bargaining agreements, best practice and business/technical processes.

Police Officer - (Police Officer) - University Police San Francisco
The University Police Department (UPD) is responsible for enforcement of all laws, apprehension of violators, maintenance of order, preservation of human life, protection, and safety services to the SF State community. It is our goal to provide a safe environment for our campus community through proactive, progressive and professional law enforcement services. Our approach places an emphasis on public services and crime prevention. UPD is a progressive customer service-oriented department that encourages employee participation, innovation, and leadership. UPD is dedicated to the university’s strategic plan, committed to staff development, and promoting new innovative ideas while continuing to incorporate community-oriented policing and problem-solving strategies. Under the direction of a Police Sergeant, the incumbent is expected to perform law enforcement duties including: foot, bicycle and/or vehicle patrol of SF State campus, residential properties and surrounding community; investigate and prepare preliminary investigation reports; issue citations; make arrests; assist in the prosecution of violators of law; provide crime prevention information; and serve as a proactive resource to a uniquely diverse community. The incumbent may also work as part of a security detail with civilian and other law enforcement agencies at university and special events. The incumbent has the opportunity to participate in a number of special assignments such as bicycle patrol, various training instructor positions, detective work, background investigations, crime prevention, field training officer, motors and various lead officer positions.

Under general supervision of the Facilities Project Supervisor for HVAC, the Building Service Engineer operates, maintains, repairs, and inspects HVAC and water systems. Key responsibilities include testing and calibrating machinery, chemically treating boiler and cooling tower water, diagnosing and repairing distribution systems, and utilizing building automation systems for troubleshooting and optimization. The engineer responds to service requests, maintains swimming pools, and keeps detailed logs of maintenance activities.

Campus Fire Marshal Chancellor's Office - Sacramento
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Campus Fire Marshal to conduct plan review and inspections to ensure compliance with fire and panic safety regulations and standards, as adopted by the OSFM. This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campuses in interacting with municipal fire departments. This position will report to a Deputy Director of Fire Safety and serve as a Chancellor’s Office Capital Planning, Design and Construction representative for the CSU Fire Safety program at each CSU campus. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM).
