| In collaboration with campus partners, the DISARC coordinator provides cultural and personal guidance to students to support their academic advancement; develops, designs, updates, and implements cultural programs, services and training for our specific population of students; completes outreach to expand current services; builds and maintains partnerships with on- and off-campus resources; and gathers feedback and research to implement best practices.
The DISARC Coordinator will also provide work direction to student employees. The DISARC Coordinator provides leadership and guidance to the campus community regarding the specific student population of the center for which they will serve as the direct coordinator. The DISARC Coordinator has responsibilities which include but are not limited to supporting student programs planning, marketing, publicity and measurement of program effectiveness for the department. The DISARC Coordinator will also have a DISARC functional area for which they will serve as the point person for that function for the entire department. |

| The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach on the San Bernardino Campus in the following subject areas: Social Network Analysis, Crime Prevention, Victimology, Correctional Administration, Police Administration, Terrorism, Juvenile Justice, Women & Crime, Domestic Violence, Drugs and the Criminal Justice System.
Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 months before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions |
